Key Events of Ukraine
- Negotiations of Foreign Ministers of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France in the "Normandy Four" format took place in Berlin. Ministers called on the conflict parties in Ukraine to withdraw the artillery with caliber bigger than 100 mm and tanks from the contact line. They insist on the creation of working groups on security, conducting the political process, granting the humanitarian assistance and reconstructing of the destroyed regions. The participants agreed on the strengthening of the OSCE mission. Negotiations about placement of peace-keeping units will continue. The question of the complete exchange of prisoners remained unresolved.

- According to the political analyst Shevchenko, the main goal for adoption of unprepared laws banning the communist symbols is to cover the failed by the "Block Poroshenko" MPs voting for the law on confiscation of the aggressor’s property. Experts believe that laws banning the communist ideology could be returned to Parliament for revision, as they contain a number of legal inconsistencies and there are no mechanisms for their implementation.
