• The head of the parliamentary faction "Poroshenko Bloc" Lutsenko said the there is no need to change Prime Minister Yatsenyuk. Deputies of the "People's Front" after the meeting with the President Poroshenko said that it was constructive, coalition should be preserved and the resignation of the Prime Minister are not planned. Poroshenko announced  the replacement of the ministers who do not meet the expectations of society.
• President Poroshenko said at a meeting with the deputies of local councils from his party that he believes the main objectives of the next year will be peace in the Donbass and progress in the fight against corruption.
• The State Border Service announced a renewal of conscription for military service, canceled in 2008, from spring 2016.

• Deputy Prosecutor General Sakvarelidze said that the resignation of the Prosecutor General Shokin depends on the decision of President Poroshenko.
