- Police raided the premises of the representatives of the party "Freedom" suspected of involvement in the events at the Verkhovna Rada on August 31 when four soldiers of the National Guard were killed.

- The Russian company "Aeroflot" in response to the sanctions has canceled three flights to Kharkiv and one - in Odessa. The sanctions include a total ban on flights of companies "TransAero" and "Aeroflot" from 25 September.
- President Poroshenko departed on an official visit to the UN General Assembly where he is scheduled to speak at the session of the Assembly, as well as holding meetings with the presidents of the United States and Poland.
