• Police raided the premises of the representatives of the party "Freedom" suspected of involvement in the events at the Verkhovna Rada on August 31 when four soldiers of the National Guard were killed.
• President Poroshenko appointed deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Dzhemilev as a head of the  National Council for Anti-Corruption Policy.

Ukraine at War

• Relative truce is maintained in the conflict zone in the Donbass. During the day, the militants fired on Ukrainian position in the vicinity of Donetsk and Artemovsk three times. There are no casualties among Ukrainian troops according to official reports.
• President Poroshenko criticized the actions of the militants and their masters from Russia who intends to hold "elections" in the occupied territories in the Donbass.
• US will supply early detection radar systems to Ukraine. The first two systems will be installed at the Russian-Ukrainian border by the end of the year, another six similar complexes consisting of radars and cameras will be installed on the border in 2016.
• Pedestrian crossing points to the occupied territory are planned to be opened in the Stanitsa Luganska.

• The head of German Chancellery Altmaier rejected suggestions about the withdrawal of sanctions against Russia in response to its help in resolving the Syrian crisis. According to German politicians, such actions can cause serious anxiety in states located between Berlin and Moscow.
• German Chancellor Merkel said the current working methods of the Security Council are not sufficient to solve the world's problems; its structure needs fundamental reforms.
• The Russian company "Aeroflot" in response to the sanctions has canceled three flights to Kharkiv and one - in Odessa. The sanctions include a total ban on flights of companies "TransAero" and "Aeroflot" from 25 September.
• President Poroshenko departed on an official visit to the UN General Assembly where he is scheduled to speak at the session of the Assembly, as well as holding meetings with the presidents of the United States and Poland.
