President Poroshenko signed a decree imposing sanctions against individuals and entities of Russia and other countries that have contributed to and took part in the aggression of Russia in Ukraine. Entry into the country was denied to a number of journalists of Russian and foreign publications.
The Verkhovna Rada denounced the agreement with Russia on the completion of units at the Khmelnitsky NPP and plans to finish the construction by 2019 with the assistance of the European partners.

The US is ready to increase the assistance to Ukraine after the approval by the Verkhovna Rada of a package of laws necessary for the restructuring of the public debt.
