• 12th Yalta European Strategy (YES) Annual Meeting opened today in Kyiv at the Arts Arsenal. This year, it will focus on the global impact of the events in Ukraine. The Meeting will be attended by the former head of the European Commission Barroso and US Assistant Secretary Nuland.

• The Headquarters of the Antiterrorist Operation have reported that the truce in Donbas that has been observed for the second day now allows for starting the reconstruction of the destroyed infrastructure facilities. Losses from tripwires have been also reported among civilians.
• President Poroshenko refused to negotiate directly with the representatives of the militants, as urged by the Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov.
• One of the leaders of Donbas militants Khodakivsky said that the reintegration of the occupied territories of Donbas in Ukraine is conditioned on Kyiv giving up its demands that the equipment and the mercenaries be withdrawn to Russia. According to him, Russia supports DPR financially and controls appointments.
• Russia's Investigative Committee opened criminal cases against Defense Minister Poltorak, Chief of General Staff Muzhenko, other leaders of the military department and MP Lyashko.
