Key Events in Ukraine
- President Poroshenko signed a decree on the establishment of several regional civil-military administrations in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
- Soldiers who are serving in the Armed Forces, will be paid double the minimum wage. Before the size of the payout was equal to the minimum wage.

- Tension grows in the Donbass, the militants massively use MRLS and heavy artillery to shell positions of the Ukrainian army and settlements all along the front line. Critical infrastructure in the region is destroyed as a result of the shelling and there are civilian casualties. According to official reports, one soldier was killed and six were wounded.
