Key Events of Ukraine
- President Poroshenko held an expanded meeting on the settlement of the situation in the Donbass with representatives of government, security agencies and Minsk process working sub-groups. The issues of implementation of the Minsk Agreements by Russia, ceasefire, restoration of the control over the state border, exchange of prisoners, as well as the possibility of holding the local elections and delivery of the humanitarian aid to the territory controlled by the rebels were considered.

- Shellings of the populated areas and Ukrainian army positions along the demarcation line continue. In Luhansk region affected were Krymske, Zolote, Schastya and Stanitsa Luhanska. There were fights in Shyrokine and the surroundings of Donetsk. According to official reports, two soldiers and one civilian were wounded. Near Yasynuvata a tractorist tripped a mine.
