President Poroshenko announced that he is ready to sign the law on “authorities sleansing”, but will introduce several amendments as per Venetian Commission recommendations. Prime Minister and Speaker supported this decision.

Europe is trying to figure out an optimal solution to the natural gas supply problem during the winter season. Ukrainian Fuel and Energy Minister Prodan claimed that Ukraine insists on its variant of solution and is firm that natural gas should be purchased for the price defined by the Stockholm Arbitrage.
Militants attacks on Ukrainian Army positions are ongoing non-stop in various Donbass cities i.e. Debaltseve, Uglehirsk, Schastye, Popasna, Avdiivka, as well as in Donetsk International Airport, where defenders are heroically expelling attack after attack under a non-stop artillery shelling. In the rear areas of Ukrainian Army positions, security services and volunteer battalions are disarming subversive-terrorist groups. Militants seized part of the territory of the eastern Donetsk region in the area of Dokuchaivsk, Volnovaha and to the South-East from Mariupol, where fresh Russian troops have been recently deployed as per information from NSDC. Infrastructure and residential buildings are heavily destroyed in Donetsk due to continuous shelling. Several districts of the city are cut out of natural gas, electricity and water.
UN Humanitarian Coordination agency informs that as of 30.09.2014 in Donbass, more than 3,600 people have been killed and around 8,500 wounded, as well as almost 380 thousand have left to other regions of the country, and around 420 thousand - to other countries. As not all the data have been captured, these numbers could be far higher.

German Ministry of Defense decided to send 200 paratroopers to Donbass in order to ensure security of the OSCE mission.
