Ukraine
- Seversky Donets-Donbass channel have been restored, soon water will resupplied again to cities of Donetsk region.
- Separatists that seized Kharkiv Regional State Administration in April this year, were released from prison on bail made by former deputy Tsarev.
- Naval parade dedicated to the Ukrainian Navy day, was held in Odessa, warships entered the port of Odessa on the raid.
- Police dispersed the strike of soldiers' mothers, protesting against authorities violation of promise to withdraw Nikolaev airmobile brigade from encircling on the border in Luhansk region, where Ukrainian soldiers are facing cross fire from both terrorists and Russian army and bear heavy losses.
Kyiv
- Participants of the international solidarity march against terrorism, which was attended by mostly foreigners living in Ukraine, held a funeral procession from Kontraktova square to the European square, and paid tribute to the kileld passengers of Malaysian airliner shot down by terrorists over Donbas.
War in Ukraine
- DPR terrorists shelled center of Gorlovka with multiple rocket launchers "Grad", killing 13 people, including two children and dozens wounded. Video, shot by eyewitnesses, proves that shelling had been carried out by terrorists. Terrorists also shelled Avdiyivka, suburbs of Donetsk, Pesky village and Lugansk. Civilian casualties and destruction of residential and public buildings have been reported. Terrorists blew up a railway bridge on Donetsk-Avdiyivka route.
- Espresso TV journalist was seriously wounded in Lugansk region by terrorists. Her car was attacked despite the «Press" markings.
- Ukrainian military advanced from Debalcevo to Donetsk-Snizhne highway, liberated Shakhtyorsk and entered Torez. Accordingly, terrorists grouping was divided and Donetsk was cut off from supply routes from Luhansk region.
- Ukrainian troops are engaged in heavy fighting for Pervomais'k where they confront a large force of terrorists, including Chechen mercenaries. Residents report of city being completely mined.
- Russian troops continue shelling positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces facing heavy casualties, from Russian territory and in coordination with terrorists. Defense Minister Geletey stated that
- special committee have been appointed to investigate Russian media reports about surrender of several dozen of Ukrainian military, fled to Russia.
- Russia continues to supply terrorists with weapons, mercenaries and armored vehicles through a section of Ukrainian border in Luhansk region, not guarded by Ukrainian troops and border guards.
International
- U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Payett posted on Twitter a satellite images, proving evidence of Russian shelling Ukrainian troops from Russian territory. This have been also confirmed by numerous photographs of the Russian soldiers boasting of shelling of Ukrainian territory.
- According to CBS News channel, referencing to Euroconrol safety service, research of MH17 flight «black boxes», provides evidence that the plane had been severely damaged by a missile.
- Georgian singer won the "New Wave" festival in Jurmala, Ukrainian performers Victoriya Petryk and Vyacheslv Rybikov took second and third places respectively.
